iGaming & affiliate SEO

SEO for sports betting and casino, compliant by design.

A decade in one of the most competitive and most regulated verticals in search. I help affiliates and operators win the SERPs that matter without putting their licence relationships, partners or domain at risk. In German and English.

Why it's different

Generic SEO advice breaks in this vertical.

Regulation shapes the content

In Germany, the GGL and the GlüStV set rules for which operators may be promoted and how bonuses, risks and age limits are communicated. Pages that rank but break the rules are a liability, not an asset.

YMYL raises the quality bar

Gambling is "your money or your life" territory. Real authors, real expertise, transparent affiliate relationships and responsible-gambling information aren't optional extras.

The link market is a minefield

Every gambling niche has vendors selling placements on networks that look fine until an update hits. An independent review before you buy is cheaper than a recovery afterwards.

AI answers add a new risk

When ChatGPT or AI Overviews summarize betting offers, outdated bonus terms or unlicensed operators can surface next to your brand. Visibility in AI answers needs the same care as rankings.

What the compliance audit checks

From the SEO side of the rulebook.

Every finding comes with the page, the issue and a concrete fix. Not legal advice; I work alongside your legal team.

  1. 01

    Operators

Only licensed operators promoted for the markets you target, with licence information where required.

  2. 02

    Player protection

Age limits, addiction-prevention notices and help resources, placed where users actually see them.

  3. 03

    Bonus wording

Bonus and promotion copy without misleading "free" or "risk-free" claims, with the terms visible.

  4. 04

    Trust & YMYL

Authors, reviews, sources, affiliate disclosures and editorial standards that hold up to scrutiny.

  5. 05

    Links & tech

Link profile risk, odds and comparison page templates, hreflang for multi-market setups.

From my work

Daily betting tips, automated with editorial control.

For a German sports betting site I built a Make.com pipeline that pulls live odds and stats from two sports APIs, drafts tip articles against a quality template, and routes every draft to an editor before publishing. Read the case or see how the content pipeline works.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Is the compliance audit legal advice?

No. I check your content and pages against the advertising and player-protection requirements that matter for SEO, and flag what needs attention. Final calls belong with your legal counsel, and I'm happy to work alongside them.

Do you sell links?

No. I review link profiles and vendors, and help you decide what's worth buying. Not having a link inventory to sell is exactly what keeps the advice independent.

Which markets do you cover?

My depth is in the German-speaking market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and its regulation. I also work on English-language and multi-market setups, including hreflang and market expansion.

Do you work with operators or only with affiliates?

Both. Most of my iGaming work has been with affiliates and comparison sites, but the same audit and implementation work applies to operators.

Do you guarantee rankings?

No. In SERPs where the same five brands fight for every position, anyone who guarantees rankings is guessing. You get a clear plan, the implementation, and honest reporting.

Let's talk

Fighting the same five brands on every SERP?

Fifteen minutes, no pitch deck. Tell me your markets and what's stuck, and I'll tell you straight where the leverage is.
