Where does your site rank on Google?
Enter your domain, up to three keywords and the cities you care about. The check queries Google live for Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich and shows your position in the top 20, who ranks around you and whether an AI Overview cites you. No signup.

What the check shows
One live Google query per keyword and city, in German, read the way a rank tracker reads it.
- 01
Your position
The organic position of your domain in the top 20, per keyword and city. www and subdomains count as your domain. Ads and map results are not counted as positions.
- 02
The ranking URL
Which of your pages Google shows. If it is not the page you want to rank, that is often the first thing to fix.
- 03
Who ranks above you
The first three other domains in the organic results, so you can see who you are up against in each city.
- 04
AI Overview
Whether Google shows an AI Overview for the keyword and whether it links to or cites your domain.
- 05
SERP features
Local pack, featured snippet and People also ask. They push organic results down and change how many clicks a position gets.
- 06
A plausibility check
Each results page is compared with the other cities and checked for signs of altered results. If a page still looks wrong after a second fetch, it is marked Result uncertain and not counted.
Questions
Why does the result differ from my own Google search?
Your own search is personalised. Google takes your search history, your exact location and your device into account, and results change during the day. The check asks Google from a neutral session for one city and one device type, which is closer to what a new visitor sees. Small differences of one or two positions are normal.
What are poisoned SERPs, and what does "Result uncertain" mean?
Since September 2026, Google has been showing some SEO data tools results pages that look normal but differ from what people see, for example with forum or foreign pages that have little to do with the keyword. Ahrefs puts the share at 5 to 20 % of results depending on the data provider, DataForSEO, which supplies the data for this check, measured 20 to 30 % after 26 September and fewer since 10 October, and Semrush has confirmed the problem as well. Google has not commented, and no provider can filter these pages out completely. This check compares each results page with the other cities and looks for warning signs. A page that still looks wrong after a second fetch is shown as "Result uncertain" and not counted. How to spot false rankings is covered in the post Poisoned SERPs: why your rank tracker is wrong.
Why only three cities?
Every city is a separate live query to Google, and each one costs money. Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich are three of the largest markets in Germany and show how much your rankings change from place to place. A wider set of locations, or rankings tracked over time, is part of the €290 diagnostic.
How often can I run the check?
Three checks per day from one connection, with up to three keywords and three cities each. There is also a daily limit for all visitors together, because every query is paid. When a limit is reached, the tool tells you and works again the next day.
Is anything I enter stored?
No results are stored. Your domain, keywords, city and device go to DataForSEO, which runs the Google query. For the daily limit, a counter keyed with a hashed form of your IP address is kept until the end of the day. The privacy policy has the details.
Ranking, but not where you want?
The Search & AI Diagnostic (€290) looks at why: indexing, technical blockers, 16 months of Search Console against Google's updates, and your visibility in AI answers. You get a written verdict with the five things to fix first.
